The directory combines individual restaurant records from The Infatuation, Harden’s and other linked sources. The review archive also includes Guardian and Observer articles and cross-publication coverage from Harden’s “Review of the Reviews”. Sources include the Financial Times, Times and Sunday Times, Telegraph, Standard, Mail, Independent, Spectator and Time Out. This is a researched collection checked on 30 October 2026, rather than a live feed or an exhaustive list.
“Full public review” means the article was readable without a subscription when checked. “Public roundup/excerpt” is a separate public summary, often on Harden’s, with a direct link to the original. Restaurant press excerpts are selected by the restaurant. A reachable original page does not establish full article access. Only short attributed excerpts are reproduced here.
Original publication dates, publisher updates and roundup dates are separate. Unknown dates stay unknown. Scores belong to their publishers and aren’t combined. Guides and diner surveys appear separately from critic reviews. Several reviews may disagree. Historical coverage does not establish that a restaurant is still operating.
Restaurant descriptions are compiled from sources. They aren’t reviews written by Paul or claims that he has visited. Photographs link to their credited source. Opening-list filters use the verified Time Out October list and Infatuation Hit List; they indicate editorial attention rather than measured popularity.
